Veneto Description
In the Dolce Vita days of the 1950s and 60s this used to be one of the most sought-after areas of the city but now it is a sad shadow of its former self. Many of the once-elegant buildings have now become head offices of banks or large companies and the shopping area is now over priced and not a place to go for the really fashion-conscious. Here there are expensive restaurants and some of the best hotels in the city but it is more a place for well-heeled tourists and business travellers than for residents.
